Greetings, everyone. We are rapidly approaching our next meeting, and I hope everyone is feeling pumped, as the election season approaches. We are now only about three months away from the primary election, and less than six months from the general, and things are really going to get cooking with our club.
For our next meeting, not tomorrow but the 21st of May, next Monday, we will have all four of the candidates for the Arizona House of Representatives. They are Doris Goodale (incumbent) and Wyatt Brooks, both of Kingman, and Sonny Borrelli and George Schnittgrund of Lake Havasu. The meeting will be at the Elks at 11:30 AM, as usual. We will allow each to make opening statements to introduce themselves, tell us why they’re running, etc., and then, before we open it up to questions, we will have a lightning round, where we’ll hit them with rapid fire questions known only to myself. If anyone has a question for the lightning round, either e-mail it to me in advance, or write it down and give it to me at the beginning of the meeting. Also, for the questions, to make it fair, we will ask an equal number of questions of each candidate.
